Angel’s Berkshire Pork Salami is made strictly with purebred Berkshire Pork. The Berkshire blood line originates hundreds of years ago in Great Britain. What makes this pork unique is that it boasts more marbling, richer coloring, increased tenderness, optimum moisture and flavor. The pigs spend most of their time outside roaming free at the family owned farm in Kansas. They are raised without antibiotics or growth hormones in a low stress environment. Berkshire pork is certified under the six-point USDA verified program which ensures consistent quality and standards: age, source & location from birth to harvest, feeding, raising protocols, and processing.
You can choose from two flavors of Salami.
The Picante Salami (6.5oz) is made with 100% Berkshire Pork, fennel, red wine, Grappa & picante spices. With a coarse grind natural casing for minimal acidity, the salami is fermented, dry-cured, and then aged for three months in a dry room.
The White Truffle Salami is also made with 100% Berkshire Pork, Grappa, White Peppercorn, and White Truffle from the Alba region of Italy.
