Caramelized Broccoli Everyone Will Like
The whole family will eat this broccoli! A new go-to veggie dish!
- 3 Tbsp olive oil divided
- 1 bunch broccoli
- 1/2 cup water
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 pinch crushed red pepper
- salt & pepper
- 1 squeezed lemon juice
In a large deep skillet, heat 2 Tbsp olive oil. Add broccoli, cut side down, cover & cook over medium-high heat until deep brown on the bottom, about 8 minutes.
Add the water, cover and cook until the broccoli is just tender-7 minutes. Add 1 Tbsp olive oil with the garlic and red pepper. Cook uncovered until the garlic is golden brown, about 3 minutes.
Season the broccoli with salt & pepper & drizzle with the lemon juice. Serve.
