Vegan Parmesan "cheese"

The vegan Parmesan is so easy to make. Plus it's loaded with nutrients. Just use a hand blender to blend a couple of handfuls of your favorite nuts, some nutritional yeast, and a clove or two of garlic. Adjust the amount of each ingredient to suit your taste. Sprinkle it on everything!

Ingredients
  

  • 3/4 cup raw cashews, or walnuts, Brazil nuts, etc.
  • 1/2 cup hemp seeds
  • 1/4 cup nutritional yeast
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 cloves fresh garlic
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder optional

Instructions
 

  • Combine all the ingredients in a food processor and blend until the cashews and hemp seeds are fully incorporated and broken down to resemble parmesan cheese, about 1 minute.
  • Use immediately or transfer to an airtight container. Store in the refrigerator for up to 3 weeks.
