Green Juice, Blender style

Enjoy the sweetness of the oranges without worrying about the added sugar! Leaving the orange peel on provides the extra fiber that helps process the sugars naturally. Plus it keeps your tummy full longer. With a high speed blender, I never need to buy almond milk again! Plus just adding a small handful of almonds provides the protein to keep me going strong. Happy blending!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 cups Filtered Water
  • 1 cup spinach
  • 1/2 cup cucumber I used Persian. If you use a regular cuke, then peel it first
  • 2 celery stalks
  • 1 small bunch parsley
  • 2 navel or blood oranges cut the stem off, but keep the peel on, cut into quarters
  • 1/2 inch ginger
  • 1/4 cup almonds
  • 1 1/2 cups ice

Instructions
 

  • Place all ingredients in the jar in order listed
  • For Vitamix: Select VARIABLE, speed #1. Turn on machine and quickly increase speed to #10; then to HIGH. Run for 1 1/2 minutes or until smooth.
  • All done! Enjoy!!
